Todd Oliver presents 'The Funniest Night'
Todd Oliver — comedian, ventriloquist, musician — brings his friends to the stage Friday, Nov. 2.
Oliver will perform at 7 p.m. at the Park Rapids Area High School auditorium.
"The Funniest Night" is a hilarious 85 minutes of fun and frolic as part of the current series of concerts provided by the Heartland Concert Association. Admission is by season membership or tickets can be purchased at the door.
Oliver leads the audience through a range of hilarity — from canine conversations with Irving to the amazing ventriloquism of Pops, Miss Lilly and Joey, his lively suitcase family.
Oliver grew up loving dogs, ventriloquism and rock n' roll music. As a young boy, he studied piano, guitar, voice and ventriloquism. Along the way, he created some wooden-headed characters and began performing around the world.
Oliver and friends have been a feature on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson," "The Today Show," a couple episodes of "Walker Texas Ranger," and in 2012, they were a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent.
